Im so glad I was able to take Dad to see his teacher One last time. Joko Ninomiya was the original founder of Enshin Karate. He made it all the way here from Japan and decided to stay in Colorado because if the beautiful trees in Idaho Springs.. He believed that this place holds a beauty that no where else in the world does. The ring down in denver in his building is made from trees he brought back down from there himself. Worked and oiled and polished to retain a beauty that cannot be put into words. Much like my father. I was lucky enough to meet him and talk to him with no one around. Just us and the Spirit. He and my Dad tought many things to me that I will never forget.
