Paul Apodaca was born on May 10th, 1953, in Denver, Colorado. He passed away unexpectedly in his childhood home at the age of 68 years old on December 12th, 2021. Paul is survived by his daughter Lori Jane Cuno and his son Jeffery Paul Apodaca; grandsons: Jessie and Jeffrey Cuno, Ethan and James Harrison Apodaca; siblings: Erlene Apodaca, Becky Lujan, and Gloria Vandine; his uncle Joe and aunt June Martinez and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Rachel (Martinez) Castaneda and Julio Apodaca, grandson James Cuno, and siblings Frank Garcia Jr., and Dolores Garcia
Paul wore many hats- father, grandfather, Airforce Veteran, chef, mechanic, bus driver, caregiver, neighbor and friend. He touched many lives with his generosity and kindness. He showed his humanity by giving generously to others. His wit, intelligence, and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Paul will be laid to rest at Fort Logan Cemetery on February 25th, 2022, at 11:00 am, located at 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Denver Rescue Mission.
