Peggy Maurine (Minnick) Wulff was born January 19, 1930 in Ashland, Kansas to Jesse Isaac Minnick and Nola Ethel (Ware) Minnick and was the eldest of five children born of their union. They lived on a small farm in western Missouri, near Adrian. She attended Adrian High School and graduated in 1949. Shortly after graduating, Peggy spent a short time singing country western songs on Kansas City Radio. She then attended nursing school but soon realized she didn’t enjoy certain aspects of the job and instead found work as a Records Clerk for the Kansas City, MO
Police Department in the mid-1950s. While living in Kansas City, MO, she met and soon fell in love with the nice, red-headed.Army man who lived across the street from her upon his return from active duty in the Korean Conflict. Peggy married Jerome (Jerry) Alan Wulff on January 21st, 1956 and to this union two children were born; Gail Ann and William Alan. Peggy was a homemaker while the children were young and in school. When Jerry started his own business in the late 1970s, Denver Concrete Vibrators, Peggy became the company’s bookkeeper off and on for approximately nine years. She had many hobbies that kept her busy over the years; general yard work, sewing – often making her own clothes, and flower gardens. After Jerry retired in 1994, he and Peggy enjoyed taking fishing trips to Lake Powell, visiting family in Arizona, watching football, and enjoying each other's company. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Jerry; her parents Jesse and Nola; three younger brothers, baby Levon Minnick, Gene Minnick, and Junior Minnick; three sisters-in law, Phyllis Minnick (married to D.J.), Sue Minnick (married to Junior), and Lila Minnick(married to Gene). The family is respecting Peggy’s final wishes of not having a memorial service and will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family offers the suggestion of donating to your favorite charity in her name.
