81, of Dacono, Colorado. Phyllis passed away peacefully on August 21, 2017. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 10am in the Pavilion of Reflection located on the grounds of Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Phyllis is survived by her sons, Wallace (Pam) Lyons and Leonard (Renee) Cain; one daughter, Diann (Fred) Kidder; six grandchildren, Wyley Lyons; Justin (Kristi) Cain; Gregory Kidder; Jennifer Brianne Cain; Michael Kidder; five great-grandchildren, Theresa Lyons; Aubrey Cain; Riley Cain; Dominic Brooks; and Liam Kidder. She is also survived by two sisters, Delores Friberg; Laura Marling; her stepchildren, Dena (John) Gauna; Julia (Billy) DeLeon; Aaron (Melissa) Romero; step-grandchildren, Jarius Gauna; Jailene Gauna; Marine DeLeon; Jaedyn DeLeon; Jordyn DeLeon; Jazilyn DeLeon; and Elijah Romero.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elbert Filer; one son, Dirk Cain; and her parents, Forrest and Fern Peters.
Arrangements are under the direction of Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Cemetery & Arboretum, Wheat Ridge, CO.
