"A few" years ago, lively, lovely Rae and I were sorority sisters and good friends.  Our mothers became acquainted with one another and also were great friends. -- I hope my happy memories of Rae reflect in a small way the wonderful memories carried by all of you in her family. Times change, friends and family live in different locations, and we will always remember the good times family and friends have given while we were together.  Just keep on moving ahead with fond memories of those times.

Ray was always special for me.  She adopted me immediately after the first post McMurry phone call, and graciously hosted me on many occasions even though John wanted me to just sneak in and out. I had been missing her recently. I will miss her even more.

Ray was such a fun, beautiful person.  I am thankful for my father's admiration of her, thus creating a tie to pull us together.  The world is yet again a new and different place with her departure, as it was with her arrival.  She will be missed.

When someone loses a loved one who has meant so much for so many years, it's hard to know how to begin expressing words of sympathy and comfort.
