Rachel K. "Andy" Anderson

Rachel K “Andy” Anderson, passed away January 30th of 2025 surrounded by loved ones while in the comfort of his home. Andy lived a great life, proud to have made it to the age of 90 years old. He is survived by his wife (Rose Anderson), two sons (Donald and Richard Anderson), four grandchildren (Jennifer Rodriguez, Sheri Hughes, Kevin Anderson and Kristina Nye), and five great grandchildren (Ashley Heiland, Kylea Nye, Ryan Nye, Ryder Nye and Kynlee Nye) whom he all loved and cared for deeply. He is preceded in death by his son Kenneth Anderson and daughter, Debra Harrison.

Andy served in the army for two years and worked in several various fields before ultimately deciding to pursue a career as a long haul truck driver, which he did for a long 34 year period. Andy went coast to coast, occasionally bringing family along one at a time. In his spare time, Andy enjoyed playing golf, a hobby that has since been passed down to his sons, Richard and Donald Anderson, as well as his grandson, Kevin Anderson. Andy also enjoyed traveling and has had the pleasure of visiting nearly all of the US states including Hawaii and Alaska, as well as Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and the Caribbean. Andy loved his family and animals.

Family and all those whose lives have been touched by Andy are invited to attend the funeral service at Crown Hill Mortuary on February 28th, 2025 at 2pm to celebrate and remember Andy. Andy will be remembered for his loving heart, hardworking attitude and fiery spirit.
