Raymond is survived by
His parents: Raymond (Sr) & Sara-Missie Hebert of Ft Worth TX,
His brother: Brian Henry Hebert
His daughter: Alexandra Rae (Alex) Hebert
His cat: Peyton
And many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends
He was preceded in death by all 4 grandparents and his Uncle Dave Weaver and cousin Christopher Todd McHarg.
As an Air Force brat he lived in many different places, to include:
Dover, Delaware, Upper Heyford England, Austin, Texas, Poquoson,Virginia, Panama (Central America), Montgomery, Alabama, Belleville, Illinois and Annandale, Virginia. His travels took him to many other places including: France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, New Zealand, Ecuador, Mexico, Canada, Guatemala, Scotland, Belize and Costa Rica.
His hobbies and interests included:
Snowboarding, swimming, water polo, bike riding, hiking, rock climbing, camping, organic gardening, regular gardening, toastmasters and working on and fixing up the homes he lived in with his tools and woodworking skills; he was a great cook, nature lover and animal lover. He even tried his hand at raising a bee colony and chickens.
He especially loved the family vacations to Ocean City, Maryland, swimming in the ocean and eating Chesapeake Bay blue crabs…..he was an extremely avid reader and always had a book with him…
Much of what he enjoyed and learned was through The Boy Scout's of America: Ray achieved the highest rank in scouting: The Eagle Scout… He was also a member of The Society of the Cincinnati.
His rewarding moments in life came with being the World’s Best Daddy to Alex – he was a wonderful son and brother in a very close family
He graduated from WT Woodson High School, Fairfax, Virginia in 1996 (with high honors)
During his senior year he was the captain of the swim team, MVP of the gymnastics team, runner on the cross country team, National Honor Society member and a life guard at local pools, he was a certified swim instruction for the American Red Cross.
He graduated from The University of Texas-Austin in 2000 with a degree in Management Information Systems (McCombs School of Business)….his computer skills were excellent.
He was employed by Intrawest as a Lodging Application Analyst and worked part-time for Whimmer Roofing; in the past he had worked for Anderson Consulting, Starbucks, & US Bank.
He will be missed but remains in our hearts and memories……
