

Rheba Deiette Starr Pedigo, Born - September 15, 1927 in Hickory, North Carolina, married Charles George Pedigo on August 15, 1955, passed away on March 14, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband Charles George Pedigo in 1982. Survived by three daughters, Patricia Pedigo Thom, Pamela Pedigo Hackbarth and Peggy Pedigo Hooper and their husbands and four.grandchildren - Emma Juniper Thom, Olivia Thom, Tobias Thom and Icie Hooper.
Graduated from Emory University School of Nursing and received a masters degree from Minnesota State University in microbiology. For her military service she served in Korea in several different MASH camps and also worked in the transport of wounded soldiers.She received the Bronze Medal of Valor for Heroism. After the Korean war she was stationed in Japan working in hospitals and orphanages there in the rebuilding effort.She received an Honorable Discharge February 18, 1957.
She married August 15, 1955 in Denver and with her husband raised their family in Lakewood. Her husband was a Mason in Rocky Mountain Consistory and they were active in Eastern Star activities. She was Worthy Matron of Temple Chapter in 1977/78.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the Eastern Star Masonic Retirement Community, 2445 S. Quebec, Denver at 10:30 am on Monday March 18, 2013. Interment will be at Crown Hill Mortuary. In Lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to the Eastern Star Masonic Retirement Home in her memory.
