June 2, 1929 - February 16, 2018
Richard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis, sons Greg (Beverlyn), James (Twilight) and Richard Jr. (Lyda), grandsons Tanden and Camren Hovey and Kellen (Kellie) Schull, granddaughter Gianne Schull, great-granddaughter Kinslie Schull and sister Virginia Shanks. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Maglona Hovey. Richard was a member of Mason Lodge #86, the Wheat Ridge Rec Center and Grace Church.
Celebration of Life will be Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Olinger Crown Hill, Pavilion of Reflection. His urn will be laid to rest at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
