Robert David “Bob” Poseley, 88, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on July 8, 1937, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Jerome and Agnes Poseley, Bob dedicated his career to the aerospace industry, where he served as a finance manager. In 1961, he married Venita “Sue” Poseley, and together they built a beautiful life and raised three children.
Bob will be remembered for his deep love of the mountains, his passion for travel, and the joy he found in long walks with his dogs. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend—known for his warmth, humor, and the kindness he shared so freely with everyone around him.
He is survived by his children John, Scott, and Shannon; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish in Fort Collins on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow.
