Robert C Walton

Robert Crews Walton, 87, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011. He was born Sept. 5, 1923 in Fulton, MO. He was the son of James Herbert Walton and Clara Linton Walton. He is survived by his loving wife and companion, Ruth Walton, who he was married to for 66 years. He is also survived by his children, Patricia A. Walton, and Shirley (Johnny) Mosher. Grandfather of Ryan (Freedom) Mosher, Robbie (Janet) Mosher, Michael (Tracey) Mosher; Great-grandfather of Sierra, (12), Peyson, (9), Nathan, (3), Jacob, (8 months), and Sadie, (11 weeks), Mosher. Robert is also survived by several extended family members and special friends. Robert had a good, full life which included his church family, travel, RV camping with friends, trips on their motorcycle with Ruth, square-dancing, hunting, his pilot license, good times with friends, and many memory filled visits with family. Robert was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He was a good Christian man who worked hard to provide for his family. His family loved him very much. Visitation is Thursday, 5-7:00 P.M. at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Funeral will be Friday, February 4, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at Clear Creek Valley Church. Committal to follow at Golden Cemetey.
