Ron was born on February 21, 1960, to Barbara K. Spaulding and Jerry L. Spaulding in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from Denver South High School in June 1978 Ron went on to pursue a career in Building Maintenance. His career blossomed quickly as he went to work with the maintenance team at Central Park Bank in downtown Denver and then switched to servicing Hospital & Retirement care facilities the remainder of his career most notably 10+ years at Lutheran Hospital.
In 1987 Ron met what would soon be his wife Kathy and mother to his children Zachary Spaulding and Joshua Tuttle.
Ron was an exceptional Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and loyal friend. He was extremely athletic, he excelled at all sports football/basketball/baseball/softball well into his adult life where he established lifelong bonds and stories for all that were fortunate enough to play with or get to know him. Ron was also quite the historian in all things Colorado and sports related.
Ron was preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Florence Thompson, Clark and Ada Spaulding, parents Barbara and Jerry Spaulding, brother Jerry Spaulding jr., sister Carolyn Abeyta, wife Kathy, brother Daniel “Boone” Chambers.
He is survived by Siblings Debbie Mestas and Sam Padilla, David and Kathy Vigil, all of Denver, Co., Rob Spaulding Phoenix, Az., Brian Mestas Sr., Lori Irazoque, Kathy Sue Kenyon, Theresa Chambers, Lee Mitchell, Michael, Steven and Raymond Spaulding all of Denver, Co. Uncles Jim Thompson and Rich Gorham, Aunt Virginia Gorham. along with many loving Cousins and 14 Nephew/Nieces, 18 Great Nephew/Nieces and 3 Great Great Nephew and Nieces.
Services will be on held on Friday July 7th, visitation from 11:00-noon with a Graveside Service at 12:30 pm at Olinger Crown Hill, 7777 W. 29th Ave. Wheatridge, Colorado.
Reception will be held at American Legion Post 178, 1655 Simms St. beginning at 2:00 pm.
