She was born in Herkimer, New York on April 25, 1960, daughter of the late Anslem and Marjorie (Eustace) Renodin.
Rosie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jim Sanborn, her children Jake (Dynette) Fletcher, Nathan (Alexandra) Korasick and Daniel Korasick of Colorado. She is also survived by her remaining siblings Wayne (Mary) Renodin and Joan Renodin, of New York. She leaves her grandchildren Lainey and Chase Fletcher of Colorado, along with 4 step children, 10 step grandchildren, and so many more family and friends that loved her and will miss her dearly.
She was preceded by her siblings Edward Renodin, Kelly Renodin and Barbara Urich.
Rosie moved to Colorado when she was 16 where she lived most of her life but always had a special place in her heart for New York.
Her life was spent bringing joy to the simplest moments, as she was the master of cooking a delicious meal for family in “her” kitchen. She was famous for her amazing pies and sweet treats she made with love. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful garden, where the flowers always seemed to bloom just a little brighter with her care.
Surrounded by family and friends she was always the life of the party and knew how to bring people together, to laugh, smile and make lasting memories.
Her love for music was the heart and soul of her day to inspire her creativity, whether it be painting, gardening or dancing.
She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren who were fortunate enough to be part of her world. Whether it was listening to band concerts, watching dance recitals, doing crafts together or cheering them on at a ball game.
Rosie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her love and countless memories will forever remain in our hearts.
A celebration of her life will be held in the coming months in Colorado and New York. Family and friends will be notified.
Rosie was an avid gardener and someone who loved playing in the dirt and getting her hands dirty. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the Colorado Garden Foundation.
