

She graduated from East High school in Denver. After high school, she worked at Kress Dept. Store and Mountain Bell Telephone. She married James Hoshour and they made their home in Lakewood, Colorado having two daughters, Janet and Joyce. After the girls graduated high school, she went back to work for the U.S. Government as a telephone switchboard operator, retiring in 1975.
She was a member of the Mile High Church of Religious Science in Lakewood since 1960 and enjoyed the Sunday services and social activities with the church during her retirement.
She and her husband enjoyed their cabin in Fraser, Colorado, their travel trailer, and the many trips they took with their timeshare during retirement. They especially enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and Texas.
Ruby will be remembered as always cheerful and helpful to all her family and friends. She always recalled all the cute things the grandkids said and remembered their birthdays faithfully. Holidays were especially happy times in the family memories. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Reed; husband James “Bud” of 57 years, her granddaughter Shelly and her great nephew Jeff. She is survived by her daughters: Janet Hearsch (Robert) and Joyce Bennington (Bill); three granddaughters: Roberta Cox (Mike), Robin Hill (Steven), Holli Billiamosa; three great grandsons: Daniel Cox (Janelle), Brian Cox (Sara), and Nick Billiamosa; five great great grandchildren: Raelie, Robbie, Ruby, Aaron, and Lukas; her nephew Don Caldwell (Jeannette) and her great nephew: Mark Caldwell.
Internment at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th, Wheat Ridge, CO. A memorial will be held on May 5 at 10 a.m. followed by a reception at the Olinger Mortuary facilities.
