Russell served in the U.S. Army and was a local truck driver. He was a “Union Man” all the way! He was also a great family man. He enjoyed being Papa to his grandkids. He was always helping others and loved growing his prized roses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Alberta Canterbury; sister, Nell Snell; and has now joined his loving wife, Dorothy.
He is survived by his children, Debbie Gann, Stacy Kizzair, Jeffery (Jenney) Canterbury, Doug (Colleen) Canterbury, and Kim Orcutt; numerous grandkids and great grandkids; sister, Peggy Wente; nephews, Tom Martin, Don Wente, Mike Jacoby, Eddie Jacoby, Jim Jacoby.
Visitation from 4-8pm, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 and funeral 3pm, Thursday, June 11, 2015, both at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
