

Sarah was born in Lawrence, Kansas on December 24th 1933 to Maggie and George Heyl. She grew up in Monroe, Louisiana. Her first job was at the Dime store, then Monroe hardware where she taught herself to work the switchboard. Moved to Colorado in 1966, and worked at Courtesy Ford, then she retired from Bert Chevrolet, after 25 years where she also worked in finance and as a title clerk. Sarah was a kind and generous soul, devoted wife, loving mother and treasured friend who believed deeply in her faith. Sarah enjoyed family, friends, holidays, her birthday, church, reading the bible, getting her hair and nails done, westerns, and her Colorado Rockies. She is survived by her Children (sons) Don Brashears and wife Sue, George Brashears, Rich Kasson and wife Lisa, Alma, Kelly, and Terry and Husband Dave. Multiple Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Sister Charlotte Williams and many family and friends. Preceded in Death by her beloved husband Richard, her brother Frank Hyle and sister-in-law Barbara, brother-in-law Roger Williams and her parents Maggie and George.Though we mourn her passing, we are grateful for the time we had and the memories we shared. Sarah’s spirit will remain in our hearts forever.Her family would like to thank the wonderful help at InnovAge Loveland for their help and compassion over the years.
Services will be held Friday May 30th, 2025 at 10am at Olinger Crown Hill, Wheat Ridge, CO
