Sharron Lynnette Kihn, devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and cherished friend, passed away on August 26th, 2025, in Broomfield, CO. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and devoted husband of 46 years, Arnold Kihn, whose partnership shaped decades of shared memories.
Sharron was born on Feb 2nd, 1942, in California, the only daughter of Jack and Eleanor Easley. Early in life she moved to Colorado where she spent the bulk of her time. When her mother remarried, she welcomed new siblings to the fold. Throughout her life she appreciated the value of kindness, hard work, and family support.
Sharron met Arnold Kihn in High School at Aurora Central. Their bond was deep and lasting—her wild and witty energy matched by his patient and gentle humor. They married on Sept 3rd ,1960, embarking on a partnership that embodied the classical happy family until his passing in 2007.
Beyond her roles as daughter and wife, Sharron found her greatest joy in motherhood. She and Arnold welcomed two sons and took great pride in providing them with a loving home and education that put them on a positive course for a lifetime.
She also was extremely proud of her three grandchildren. She was so happy to play a key role in their upbringing whether picking them up after school or teaching them that mini golf is always played to win. She was known for never missing a game, play or social event where she would enthusiastically support them.
Sharron loved all things Hawaii. Enjoying many trips to the island with family and friends. She loved the Aloha sprint, the beautiful ocean and especially the macadamia nuts
Sharron was a huge mountain girl, from skiing at the first Colorado resorts to camping at her property in Como and later just hiking and fishing with her boys it would be hard to imagine her without a mountain background.
May each life she touched carry forward her warmth, her laughter, and her belief in the beauty of everyday moments. Sharron will live on in our hearts, a testament to a life well-lived and love well-shared.
Sharron is survived by her sons Eric (Lisa), Kevin (Krysten); her grandchildren Kyle (Cary), Andrew and Alana, her brother Jack (Jill) and sister Sandy (Marion).
