

Sheryl Ann Frodine passed away at her home in Denver on June 27, 2025. She was 64. She was born on November 14, 1960 in Denver to Patricia (Hankel) Frodine & Douglas L. Frodine. She grew up in Denver and went to schools in Adams County School District 50. She graduated from Iver C. Ranum High School in 1979. She lived her whole life in Colorado like many generations of her family before her. She worked for King Soopers for many years after high school, and then started college. She graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1994. She went to work at several large accounting firms before working for the State of Colorado Department of Natural Resources as an Accounting Manager until she retired.
Sheryl was an avid dog lover. They were her children. She loved to go to the mountains to camp and fish when she was young. She had a large blended family with lots of siblings, aunts, uncles & cousins, grandparents and great-grandparents.She loved to vacation in the Caribbean and Mexico, and loved Las Vegas, where she went many times.
She is preceded in death by her parents Douglas Lee Frodine, Patricia and Jose Zamora, and all of her grandparents & great-grandparents.
She is survived by her beloved dog Finn; siblings Cindy Frodine, Douglas (Layna) Frodine Jr., Pamela Zamora, Joseph (Sandy Rogakis) Zamora; Aunts Penny Klekamp & Jackie (Jerry) Andreen; nieces and nephews Sarah Lovinggood, Brandi & Danielle Zamora, Britton (Patrice) Frodine, Pare Frodine, Vincent & Shireen Zamora, Brody & Bria Sandoval, Teddy Lovinggood, & Maggie Frodine. Also many cousins and friends.
Sheryl was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes when she was just 5 years old. She lived a long, mostly happy life, despite having to deal with this disease for 60 years. She was outgoing, friendly and adventurous. Her friends all say she was a sweet and wonderful person. She leaves a huge hole in the hearts of all who loved her.
