94, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2014 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Shirley D. Rood "Grandma Topper" is survived by her loving family; daughter Barbara (Harry) Walters, six grandchildren; Chris (Jill) Randall, Kurt (Dena) Randall, Craig (Lisa) Randall, Kory (Karen) Walters, Keirsten (Pedro) Malave, and Marc Rood, also 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard H. Rood, and a son Thomas A. Rood.
Visitation Wednesday, September 24, 2014, from 5pm to 7pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014, 11am at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. Following the graveside service there will be a Memorial Service at 12pm at Peace Lutheran Church, 5675 Field St., Arvada, CO 80002.
