Tom, Thank you for teaching me how to be diplomatic when speaking to people concerning credit issues, firm yet gentle. My sympathies to your family, especially Kathy. I know you will be greatly missed. Jeanne (Sanders) Murphy, Anaconda, Montana.

It is with a heavy heart that I just learned of the passing of Tom. Long before he and the family migrated to Colorado, He was an outstanding firefighter and High School Football Official.We spent many great weekends on the gridiron with Tom. He was Past President of the Westchester County Football Officials Association. He was an exemplary role model to many young football officials. He taught us excellence. His spirit and dedication in the service of others is one of his great legacies. There are not many like him and he will be missed, but his spirit carries on. My sincere condolences to the his wife Joan and his family to whom he was also so dedicated. We lost one of the best. We will always remember the great games and times we shared. My prayers and blessings to all who miss him.

We have known Tom for many years. He was more than a customer, he was our friend. He would come into the print shop like he owned it, asking about our children by name and what was up in their lives. We find ourselves looking out the window waiting for him. Tom was a great man and we thank God that our paths crossed.Tom will be truely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

Tom, Russ and I have considered you a true friend for the last 31 years.  I remember the first day that you walked into Sanders for your job interview.  What a lucky day that was for so many people. There are so many good memories that we will always cherish.  Your sense of humor,your loving heart, your great smile are some of the things we will always remember about you.  We are so glad that we usually took the time to visit with you when we were in Denver.  Thank you for being such a great friend to us.  You will always be missed.

Tom, I'm at a loss for words. I can't seem to think about you and keep the tears at bay. I will always remember you making me tell you I was leaving every night "just in case something happens, I know where you are". I have many memories and I, like everyone else, will always cherish them. I will always be grateful to have known you. God smiled on me the day I met you.

I was just one of the many people who conducted  business with Tom, but whenever I called he was genuinely pleased to speak with me, always inquired about my  husband and children, asked about the weather in Grand Junction and my plans for the weekend.   He was truely a gentleman.

Tom always had a smile or a joke. Always treated me as an equal even when I looked like a bum from a nasty job. Seeing him always gave my day a little boost. I know he's in a better place and I pray the family finds peace in that knowlege.

My heartful sorrow goes out to Tom's entire family.  Family is who he was and this what I noticed when I first met Tom in the outdoors at Meeker, Colo.  He took genuine interest in people and was joyful to be around. I am happy to have met such a man.

Dear Family,  

Our heart goes out to all of you and we will keep you in our prayers. Most of my time with Tom was spent in his office as he sat at his desk and we solved all the proplems of the world, while ordering Boy Scout Popcorn from Troop 376 for the past 12 years. 
I will always remember how he listened to me ramble about my many woes in business and how he always gave me advise.  I will always think of him as my mentor. We would always end our conversations with talk of the family, for he was truly a family man and you are blessed to have had such a great man in your life for he will be missed by many.

As we go through life there are only a few people we come in contact with that have that special spark of being liked by all.  There are those rare breed who everyone that has known them say "What a nice person."  Tom is one of those people.  His brilliant mind and great sense of humor will be remembered by all.

I will always remember Toms lovely smile and wonderful attitude.  He could brighten up a room with his smile and boisterous "Hello!"  Tom will be missed.  My deepest thoughts and prayers to his family.

Tom, you are and always will be one of the major influences in my life.We dealt with each other  from the time you came to Sanders. At times I felt you were harsh and unfair but thats the way you and I were and you always made me think,you always listened and you always cared.You had the ability to make me look at all sides of any problem and guide me through to the right decision.I will greatly miss our weekly phone conversations about work,life ,fishing,hunting or just to say hi.
When you brought your granddaughter up to see the new foal and I became the teacher will be a treasured memory.
I'll never forget the times you would say,Lets go to lunch and then take me to your home .Joan would feed us and you both made me feel welcome.

I will miss the cheerful sounds of your whistle as you would leave your office and the knock on my window as you would always pass my office with a smile Hi or sometimes just to make sure I was awake who knew for sure!!!  The words of wisdom you always shared with me and the pep talks you gave me.  You were also there for me and my sister when our dad passed away.  And you always knew when to catch Carrie and I having some sister time!!!

Tom, Although we have had our ups & downs I have always respected you and I can say over my 28 years with you, I have learned alot from you. You will always be in my memories.

I remember Mr Tooley singing through the halls here.  We shared many laughs over the years that I knew him (including but not limited to my orange shoes).  He would always listen to any personal trouble I was having. He truly cared.  He was the anchor to this ship and will be missed dearly.  Rest in peace Mr Tooley, you will long be remembered ~
