Born on October 29, 1951, in Huế, Việt Nam, Thu was the daughter of Chung and Huong Ho. She grew up in Việt Nam and attended French schools, where she earned her baccalauréat in Mathematics and Natural Sciences. After resettling in Colorado during the Vietnam War, Thu remained committed to learning, earning her Associate Degree in the Arts. Her thirst for knowledge extended far beyond formal education—she pursued certifications in cosmetology, acupressure, reflexology, and reiki, while also exploring subjects that fascinated her, including Spanish, computer sciences, religion, philosophy, and the meaning of life.
Thu was a beacon of love and wisdom, touching the lives of all who knew her. She taught her children, family, and community the importance of loving fully, embracing gratitude as a way of life, appreciating life’s many blessings, and navigating every part of the human experience with grace. She will be dearly missed by her two children, Michael and Jeannette; their spouses, Allie and Chris; her cherished grandchildren, Rylan, Kaden, Lillian, and Evelyn; her ten siblings; her nieces and nephews; her former spouse; her extended family; her friends; and her faithful dog, Daisy.
A service will be held at Olinger Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery Crown Hill. The wake will take place on June 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the funeral will follow on June 10, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
To honor Thu Le’s life and legacy, her family kindly requests donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. https://shorturl.at/ztkb5
