It’s with deep sadness that the family of Timothy “Tim” Lee Donaldson announces his passing. Tim passed peacefully of natural causes in his Westminster home on September 30th. He was born in Sterling, Colorado on November 2nd, 1959 and moved as a child to the Denver area where he lived the rest of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Betty, sister Pammy, brother Rob and the love of his life, Jeanine. He is survived by his sister Tami, sister-in-law Mitze, daughter Amber (husband Todd), nieces and nephews, Corey, Eric (wife Faith), Brooke, Dillon, grandchildren, Brayden, Matea, Aliya, Kaleah and Barrett and great-nephew Greysen.
Tim was an incredibly kind spirit that had a hearty laugh and a voice that would carry tunes for all to enjoy. It was not uncommon for Tim to belt out in song with little warning and to the cheer of everyone in the room. His musical gift was passed down from his father, shared with his brother and given to everyone fortunate enough to bare witness at holidays, family gatherings and in the company of friends at every turn. Quite often, he would speak with deep and caring regard of time spent with his numerous cousins, aunts and uncles-seemingly a sincere fan of everyone he knew. Tim gave off the sense that he truly admired everyone he was blessed to know.
In earlier years, Tim loved time spent with family camping, fishing, playing guitar by the fire, bowling and otherwise just enjoying the company of friends and family. Growing into a passion on his Harley-Davidson, Tim found freedom from life’s worries with the wind in his face and on rides with many dear friends. Whether the time was spent playing pool, enjoying a steak dinner at the Legion or simply passing by the highway lanes of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, Tim was ever contented riding his bike. Whether on the simplicity of a day ride or longer trips to places like Saratoga or Sturgis, the road was always his loving companion.
Always one to lend a helping hand, “Papa Tim” had a giving soul that always led him in service to others. As a handyman by trade, a rider for life, father, brother, dear uncle or grandfather by God and friendly neighbor to all, Tim walked comfortably in every circle he knew. His kindness always leading the way, he carried a loving heart that all will remember with love.
