82, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2017 in Golden, Colorado. Violet is survived by her loving family; daughter Gail (Aaron) Myers, daughter Peggy (Rick) Post, son Rick Hamling, son John Hamling, daughter Reine Fleck, and daughter Debbie Hill, 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 25 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Hill who passed away in 2002, parents Carl and Lillian Rogers, sisters Betty and Velda, and brothers Howard and Cliff Rogers.
Visitation Thursday, September 7, 2017, 4pm to 7pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Co. 80033. Services Friday, September 8, 2017, 11am in the Chapel of Peace located at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. She will be laid to rest at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
