Virginia "Ginny" Coyne left us on March 8, 2013 at the young age of 92. Born Virginia Hopkins in Winfield, Illinois on 10/20/20. Devoted wife and partner to the late (2006) William (Red) Coyne. Loving mother to Virginia "Torch" (Tom) Tanke, Dana (Tom) Grotta, Tim, Erin (Mark) Mitchell and the late Patrick (Linda). Grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 8. Beloved sister of the late Edna and Dorothy as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ginny and Red enjoyed many years of retirement traveling the country in their trailer, meeting many new friends. After Red's passing, Ginny moved to Colorado to live with Erin and her family and, once again, enjoyed meeting new friends and keeping in contact with everyone she met throughout her life. Ginny had a zest for life and was instantly loved by everyone she met. Services will be held in Chicago at a later date. Any donations should be made to your favorite animal shelter as well as remembering to "pay it forward" to those in need.
