March 28, 1930 - March 17, 2017
Originally from Morris Illinois Bill moved to north Denver when he was a young child. He graduated from Wheat Ridge High School. After graduating high school, Bill enlisted in the Navy to serve his country during the Korean War.
During his enlistment Bill met his wife Ginny in some old honkytonk in Oklahoma. They soon married and moved to Arvada, Colorado. Bill did various jobs before landing a career at Gates Rubber Company. He work for 30 years, never missing a day of work. Our dad loved wood working, golfing, country music, gardening and of course gambling at the casinos in Vegas and Mesquite. He also liked his occasional snoot of Jack Daniels. They called Mesquite, NV home during the latter years of life and had a great time enjoying the weather and desert lifestyle. Though we mourn losing him we know he had a darn good life! He was dancing to Johnny Cash even up to the end!
Bill is survived by children Ranee (Robert) Bradbury and Billy Clayton (Christine Siebert) and grandchildren Rachel and Ryan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Virginia "Ginny".
Graveside service will be at 11:00am on Sat. Mar. 25 with visitation 1 hr. prior , both at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery. Bill's service to his country will be recognized with military honors rendered by the United States Navy.
"Our father will be greatly missed by his children and his close friends."
