Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace, 7777 W. 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, with interment to follow at Olinger Crown Hill cemetery. Born in Portland, Oregon he moved to Denver, Co in 1952 where he worked at The Denver Post News Paper as a Roto-Gravure until 1981. 29 years. The Post shut down his department. He went to work at the Rocky Mountain News in 1990 and retired in 1997 to start his own collection of old farm machinery known as WILLIE'S OLD IRON. He did this to " save from the recyclers" pieces of history that he wished to preserve. His passion was to attend auctions on weekends and it has been said by many that he is highly respected and loved in the auction community. He was a kind, gentle, good natured man with great pride and a wry sense of humor and steadfast loyalty. He will be sorely missed. William is preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria Poulson. He is survived by his son Mike Poulson and daughter Linda Poulson, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
