

Barry Steven Brown, age 41, of Commerce Township, born February 28, 1974, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 18, 2015. Barry was a kind and generous soul who was a friend to many. Although diagnosed at a young age with Multiple Sclerosis, Barry enjoyed a life filled with love and joy. Barry worked as a carpenter for a time, specializing in flooring. Barry enjoyed many days on the golf course with his father and brothers. He was close with his mother and spoke to her frequently.
Barry was also known for spending hours in the sun, soaking up the rays. In recent years, he found love and companionship with his fiancée, for whom he cared for deeply. Barry was also never far from his beloved dog Romeo.
Barry is survived by his parents Barry and Cynthia Brown of Leroy, his brothers Kenneth (Gwen) and Kevin (Heather). He also leaves behind his nephew Maxx Brown, nieces Isabella Brown, Mackenzie and Danielle Borden and Mya and Megan Brown. He is also survived by his fiancée Jodie Pitsos of Commerce Township. Barry is also remembered by his loving Godparents Julie Tokarz and Joe Madej.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Road, White Lake, with a Visitation from 10:00am until the Mass at 11:00am with a luncheon to follow. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at the church or at https://www.gofundme.com/barrystevenbrown.
There will be a celebration of life at Gathering At The Lakes, 900 Round Lake Road, White Lake, following the luncheon.
