Charles Vernon Lewis, age 78, of White Lake, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2025. Charles was born on December 24, 1946 to Clarence and Josephine Lewis in Detroit, Michigan. Charles enjoyed being outdoors, especially when fishing or camping. He could be found casting a line or riding around in his side by side. When Charles wasn't outside, he could be found relaxing in front of the television, thoroughly enjoying the worst B movies ever made. TV became a cherished part of his routine. Charles retired from Stock Builders in Walled Lake, Michigan.
Charles was the beloved husband of the late Peggy Lewis; loving father of Chuckie (Laura) Lewis and Tim Lewis; stepfather of Rocky (Cindy) Pauley, Terry (Darla) Pauley and Cheri Cash; grandfather of Joshua, TJ, Adam, Justin, Aaron, Kristen, Kevin, Nathan, Sarah, Rachel, Rocky Jr., Maressa, Malayna and Hunter; great-grandfather of 15. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and his loving pets Mindy and Abby.
Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date
