

Charles Thompson Moore, known as “Chuck” passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. Born on October 21, 1943, in Lonaconing Maryland. Chuck grew up to be a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Chuck’s journey through life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family & country. In 1965 he married Bonnie Sue King at the Christian Temple in Pontiac, Michigan. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Melanee and Bryan, who along with their spouses Brian Roelandt & Shannon Moore, gave Chuck the joy of being a grandfather to Forest Moore, Brice and Sydnee Roelandt.
Chuck proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His valor and dedication were recognized with the Bronze Star Medal for his meritorious achievement in ground combat operations against hostile forces in the Republic of Vietnam. After his military service, Chuck embarked on a successful career with General Motors, where he worked for 40 years before retiring in 2007.
Chuck especially loved his Corvette, taking it to the Dream Cruise every year and on Sunday afternoon drives with Bonnie. He also loved country music, taking vacations, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his sister, Margaret Ranke and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Thompson and Reta Moore, his siblings, Joe Moore, Nancy Sutton, and Gary Moore.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Neighborhoods of White Lake staff and also to Interim Hospice.
A visitation will be held at Auburn Hills Christian Center, located at 2592 Walton Blvd., Auburn Hills, MI, 48326, on February 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow at the same location from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm.
Interment with military honors will take place at All Saints Cemetery, 4401 Nelsey Rd, Waterford, MI, 48329, on February 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM
