Beloved husband of Catherine for 54 years. Loving father of Daniel Nicholas Stoicu and Kelly (John) Halliday. Proud grandfather of Dalton (Brenna) Halliday, Taylor (Micah) Stoicu, Jack Stoicu, Kyle Stoicu and Mitchell Stoicu. Treasured great-grandfather of Hadley Halliday and one new baby boy on the way. Brother-in-law of Sandy (Marty) Wertelet and Jim Crossey. Uncle of Davey (Susan) Smart. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his sister, Dolly Smart.
Mr. Stoicu was a Navy Veteran and retired from General Motors as a Master Electrician after many years of dedicated service. He had a devout love for the Lord and was always studying scripture. He was a lifetime member of In-Fisherman Bass Pro and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing and wood carving. He will be very much missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Williams Lake Church of the Nazarene, 2840 Airport Road in Waterford. A luncheon will immediately follow the service.
