Darlene Adeline Duke Grantham

Darlene Adeline Grantham; Born in Detroit, Michigan on October 12, 1941; passed away peacefully in White Lake, Michigan on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Mrs. Grantham was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Lonnie Grantham; parents, Frank and Adeline Duke; and her brother, Frank Duke Jr. She is survived by her children, Lonnie II (Natalie) Grantham, Shree (Paul) Williams, and Janene Grantham-Staley; brother, Robert (Linda) Duke; grandchildren, Matthew Williams, Joshua Williams, Amanda (Michael) Crowe, Clarice Grantham and fiancé (Aaron Talaga), and Trevor Grantham; great grandchildren, Abram Crowe and Sigurd Crowe.

Darlene was loved and will be missed by her large extended family, including many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A graduate of the Milford High School Class of 1959, Darlene loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow. She was a big Detroit Red Wings and Tigers fan, and spent many hours literally "in" her garden...she just loved her flowers! Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18th, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake MI, 48386. Funeral Service will also be at the Funeral Home on Monday, May 19th, 2014 at 11:00 AM, family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of service. A Special Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Milford Presbyterian Church, 238 N. Main Street, Milford, Michigan. 48381. The Memorial Service will start at 11:00 am.
