Doug was a remarkable husband, father, grandfather and friend: intelligent, kind, instructive and always fun. His personality grossly outsized his small stature, and he had a way of forming lasting relationships with people from all walks of life. Doug never lost his passion for music, percussion, trivia and the outdoors. If he wasn't working or tinkering on a drum set, he could be found swimming or sunning out on the lake or taking out his bar trivia competitors. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him he is survived by countless friends and family members, including his cousins (the Korzecki/Ruehl family)
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 9086 Hutchins Rd., White Lake, MI 48386
