Edward Michael Moreno Julian was born on June 18th, 1995 to Carmela Julian in Tijuana, Mexico. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, until the age of 14. He then moved to Loveland, Colorado, where he made more friends and started high school. From there, Edward moved to Hemet, California, where he completed high school, graduating and earning his diploma from West Valley High School, Class of 2013. He attended the local college Mount San Jacinto with focus on culinary. Later on, during the pandemic, he decided to go out and explore his options, which led him in Commerce Township, Michigan. From then on his family and friends grew even more. He began to really expand his culinary career when he started working at Westlake Health Campus as a line cook, where he intended to further pursue a degree in culinary.
His coworkers became a second family to him and grew to love him for all the same reasons everyone did. He was the best person you could ever ask to have in your life. He was kind, caring, and a genuinely unique soul. The kind of person that lit up any room with such light, happiness, and laughter. He could make you smile by just seeing the big bright smile of his own. In any situation he could make you laugh with his silliness because he just wanted to see a positive outcome. He loved kayaking, being in nature and around animals and sharing an IPA in the presence of his friends and family. When you see any critter that makes you think of him, eat something that he would have enjoyed, or anytime you drink a Voodoo Ranger, know that he is with you in that moment, and always. His legacy will live on through each one of us, every moment he is remembered, and whenever you can give others as much love as you possibly can. No words can describe how much he will be missed, but may he live on through us all, as we adopt all of the things we loved about him.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan 48386.
