Beloved husband of the late Priscilla "Marie" Drewno. Loving father of Alice (the late Leo) Johnson and Jeffrey Drewno. Proud grandfather of Hilary Johnson and Andrew Johnson. Brother of Linda (Rudy) Herrara and Lorraine (Damon) Gray. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews along with his dear dog, Missy. Sadly is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Dorothy Drewno and his siblings; Thomas Drewno, Wally (Rosalie) Drewno, Florence (Dan) Wallace, Gloria (Louie) Elyas, James (Linda) Drewno and Larry (Jan) Drewno and his beloved dog, Brandy.
George enjoyed BINGO and going to the casino. He loved baseball and was an avid Detroit Tiger Fan and Detroit Lions Fan. He was a member at St. Patrick Catholic Church and a former member of St. Williams Catholic Church. He will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home and Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral at 11:00 am. George will then be reunited with his beloved Marie at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi.
