Beloved husband of Karen for 46 years. Loving father of Colleen (Tom) Johnson, David (Amanda) Chapman and Lisa (Paul) Fleetwood. Proud grandfather of Aguistin Gregory Chapman, Olivia Karen Fleetwood, Melbourne Timothy Chapman and Logan David Fleetwood. Brother of Patrick and Gary Chapman. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Geneieve (nee Grulikowski) Chapman and brothers, Robert and Melbourne Chapman.
Greg was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from ACO Hardware after over 35 years of dedicated service. Greg enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, bowling, playing cards and winning at the casino. He loved sports, especially the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings and NASCAR. Greg was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Saint Mary Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, 1955 E. Commerce Street in Milford. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00am until the time of the mass. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 2:00pm.
