Harold “Hal” Andrews, age 83, died on November 4, 2024 in Pontiac, Michigan. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on July 17, 1941 to Harold and May Andrews. Hal graduated from Pontiac Central High School and later earned his Electrical Engineering Degree from Siena Heights University. He was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran and earned a Purple Heart during his service in Vietnam. He retired from Pontiac Motors after a career spanning over 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frances Andrews, his two daughters, Julie Andrews (Rae Gouirand), and Mary Kay Andrews, and his brother, Rodney Andrews (Dot Andrews) and also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Hal was predeceased by his sister Sandra Nelson.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Hal on Sunday November 10, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Parkers Hilltop Brewery, 6110 Dixie Hwy, Clarkston, MI 48346. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Wounded Warrior Project (support.woundedwarriorproject.org).
