Irene Pon, age 74, of Plymouth, was born December 21, 1949 in Hong Kong, China, and passed away peacefully January 20, 2024 at home. Loving mother of Gordon (Jacquelyn) Pon. Irene will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Irene was preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Albert Pon; her parents, Choi Yip and Wai Ying Tang; and her brothers, Chun-Keung Yip and Chun Chui Yip.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 1:00pm (Gathering 12:00pm) at Chinese Bible Church, 28111 W. 10 Mile Road, Farmington Hills. Burial will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 3:00pm at Mt. Hope Memorial Gardens, 17840 Middlebelt Road, Livonia.
