John J. Hanna of White Lake, passed away January 13, 2023 at 91 years of age.
He is survived by his daughter, Holly Dacey and grandson, Alex Dacey.
Mr. Hanna was a United States Marine veteran and a member of the AMVETS. He also was a long time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in White Lake. John was a pillar in the AA Community and proudly maintained his sobriety for over 59 years. In his earlier years, he enjoyed fishing. He will be very much missed.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins in White Lake. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake and Thursday at church from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. There will be a Rosary Wednesday evening at the funeral home at 6:00pm.
