Cherished daughter of Ruth E. Darga (nee Barkowski) and the late Leon F. Darga, Sr. Loving mother of Katherine Esshaki Wensink (Neil) and Kristin Yount (Peter). Proud grandmother of Vance, Carter, Owen, Elsa and Jack, all of whom she loved to infinity and beyond. Dear sister of Susan Rusiecki, Charles (Linda), Michael (Debbie), Jane (John Zatsick), Leon (Sharon), and Peter (Colleen). The most fun godmother, aunt, great-aunt, and cousin to countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Karen lived life to the fullest. Over her lifetime she enjoyed the Beach Boys, construction, the Red Wings, Jeeps, and needlepoint. But what she enjoyed most was a party with her family and friends.
A Mass of Resurrection and party with her family and friends will be held at a later date.
