LeRoy E., "Buzz" Newton age 85 of White Lake, passed away September 15, 2010. He is survived by his wife Blanche whom he married on September 15, 1950, his children, Fred, Mary, Amy (Robert) Pisani and Michael Newton; grandchildren; Brian and Amanda Pisani; sisters; Virginia (Don) Lanway and Karen (Larry) Cates. He was preceded in death by 1 brother and 3 sisters. Buzz was a WWII veteran. He was involved at St. Patrick's Parish where he served as a usher and was in the Men's Club. He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. He retired from GM Pontiac Motors Division as a Tool & Die Maker in the Engineering Dept. The funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at St. Patrick Church, 9086 Hutchins Rd., White Lake. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. with a rosary service at 4:30 p.m. at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Rd., White Lake. Mr. Newton will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick's Church, Odyssey Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
