

Marty Lee Cummings, age 58, of Commerce Township, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Left to cherish his memory are his loving siblings: Judy (Ken) Lipinski, John (Bonnie) Cummings, Thomas Cummings, and Mary Beth (Bryan) Green; his sister-in-law, Paula Cummings; his nieces and nephews: Ken Lipinski JR., Don (Rachel) Lipinski, Jovan (Tommy) Thomason, Chelsey (Daniel) Wegmann, Bryan Green, Brandon (Sharalyn) Green, Jacob (Kristina) Green, Courtney Kolhagen, Ashley, Michael, Eric, Katie, Kevin, Lee Cummings, Marlissa Sodt, Michael (Jessica) Cummings, Michelle (Joe Eaton) Cummings; his great-nieces and nephews: Dean and Noah Lipinski, Hannah Stephens, Natalie and Tommy Thomason, Mark Huntoon JR., Landan and Kiara Wegmann, Michael, Ryan, and Olivia Lipinski, Elliot, Levi, Bennet, and Harleigh Green, Breydon, Preston, Maverick, Brightyn Green, Brianna, Ayson Hunter, Arabella and Ryder Eaton, Caleb, Blake Cummings, Christian, Gabrielle and Zayne Sodt; his Uncle Bill Cummings; his Aunt Betty Cummings; and many cousins and close friends.
Marty was born March 21, 1964, in Mount Clemens, the son of Mr. & Mrs. John and Mary (Rosseau) Cummings. He worked as a truck driver for most of his adult life. Marty was a devoted member of the Commerce Church of the Nazarene since the 1970’s and made many meaningful friendships there. In his free time, Marty could always be found hunting, fishing, or enjoying a ride on his Harley. He was a wonderful man who will be greatly missed.
Marty was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary; his brother, Walter Cummings; and his sister, Evonnie Cummings.
In accordance with Marty’s wishes, cremation has taken place. At a later date, a memorial service celebrating Marty’s life will take place at the Commerce Church of the Nazarene.
