Palmer John Burns

Palmer John Burns; age 85 of White Lake, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014. Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Adele. Devoted and loving father of Shawn (Peggy), Maureen Francis, Brian (Pamela), Mary Palkovich, Dr. Daniel Burns and the late Janis Nankervis, proud grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 2, father in-law of Donald Nankervis, brother to Gerald and Robert; Brother in-law to June (Jack) Bucknel, William (Elaine) Boyke and Robert Boyke. Dr. Burns was a 1954 graduate of the University of Detroit Dental School. He proudly served his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force. He ran a successful Dentistry Office from 1957 to 1993 in Waterford Michigan, was a very active member of St. Patricks Catholic Church of White Lake and loved to play golf. The Memorial Funeral Service will take place at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins Rd, White Lake Mi. 48386 on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends at church beginning at 10:00am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
