Rabon Franklin Nunley

Rabon Franklin Nunley, age 84, of White Lake, Michigan, was born July 22, 1938 in Tracy City, Tennessee and passed away June 9, 2023 at his home. Beloved husband of Martha (Pluciennik) Nunley for 44 years and together for 49 years. Loving father of Richard (Carrie) Nunley, Ronald (Linda) Nunley, Giesla (Michael) LaPoudre, Thomas (Anja) Eblen, Dawn (Dallas) Smith, and Rabon (Elizabeth) Nunley II. Proud grandfather of 32 and great-grandfather of 19. Dear brother of Kenneth "Ed" (Esther) Nunley, Josephine Rollins, and Linda (Rancid) Terry. Rabon was preceded in death by his son, Dullas Nunley; parents, Alvin and Maggie (Caldwell) Nunley; and siblings, Alvin Nunley Jr., Clarence Nunley, Robert Nunley, Wanda Cook, Pauline Caldwell, Darlene Kirk, and Juanita Chernicky. Rabon will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Rabon, a distinguished Vietnam veteran, valiantly served in the Army before his unwavering dedication led him to continue his remarkable journey in the Air Force.

Visitation will be held, Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00am at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White. Burial will be held, Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 1:00pm at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, 43300 W. 12 Mile Road, Novi.
