Thomas George Townsend, age 82, of Waterford, Michigan died on August 20, 2014 in White Lake, Michigan. He was born on April 4, 1932 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late James and Florance Townsend. He married Geraldine Neill Townsend on February 7, 2003. Thomas is survived by 5 children: Laura Townsend, James (Bobbi-Jo) Townsend, Christine (Dan) Whitener, Thomas (Amy) Neill, and Sarah Diener. Thomas also has 8 surviving grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association.
