Alta "Aunt Autie" Veryl Jayne

Alta V Jayne., “Aunt Autie” went to be with the Lord on April 06, 2014. She was born in Scott City, KS to Arthur and Martha (Winn) Hazen. Alta graduated in 1950 from North High School. On September 28, 1957 she married Fred Jayne. She was a healthcare nurse for many years. Alta was a member of the Trinity Christian Center where her Church family loved to stand in line on Sunday mornings to give her hugs. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. For the ones that knew her she was an Angel from God that touched so many lives. Alta is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Jayne; brother, Bobby Joe Hazen; sisters Betty Thomas, Burma Bland, Merna Hazen, Darlene Hazen, step-son, Mike Jayne; Survived by her step-son, Tony Jayne; brother, Ted (Darlene) Hazen, sister, Delpha Schrader; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Visitation Wednesday 1-8p.m. April 09, 2014 at Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th St. Wichita, KS 67203. Funeral Service 11:00a.m. Thursday April 10, 2014 at Trinity Christian Center, 2356 Arkansas Ave. Wichita, KS 67204. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be sent to Harry Hynes Hospice or Trinity Christian Center.
