To my cousins Mike, Diana, and Ron,  I am so very sorry that I couldn't be with you on Friday at the services for Aunt Betty. I remember the Wenke get-togethers & how impressed I was with your mother for being a nurse. In those days, very few women had careers, especially those with children. She was an inspiration to me. She was also one of my favorite aunts and was so sweet to show her concern for my health these last 23 yrs that I've fought Lyme Disease. My heart goes out to you along with my prayers. It was a blessing to witness the love of the Wenke family growing up! She was such a sweet loving woman and she did and amazing job influencing your family to be the same! I'm glad she is in a place where she feels no pain! I love you all! Stay strong Wenke family! I love you!

Betty you will be dearly missed,I really enjoyed getting to know you and helping you ay Westview,and my little girl really enjoyed coming to visit you,miss you Betty..

We have had so much fun joining you and your family for different birthdays and other gatherings.  You did a great job raising them.. We are so glad to have met you.

  So many memories of all the silly and fun things Doug and I did with you- the concerts, dances,fishing,holidays...and we don't have to worry about which dance you're at or you getting home safely. Dance away, and celebrate, surrounded by your daffodils~you've earned it! Always Love!

My prayers and thoughts are with the entire Wenke family on the loss of your wonderfuul mother Betty Jo. I know that she's in a better place now and will rejoice in seeing all of her loved ones that passed before her. She was always like my second mother from the first day that I met her. She was a very wonderful person that I really enjoyed knowing.

All our love and support to our extended family at this time. We love Aunt Betty Jo very much and she will be missed. I know she is with Dad Van in Heaven and our family before them. God Bless.

I love you grandma. Thank you for always being a good listener and giving good advice. I appreciate all the encouragement you gave me when I was a young girl and even when I was an adult.
