Brian Wayne Boone

Brian was born in Wichita on June 14th, 1966, to Delbert “Pete” Boone and Beverly “Jody” Hysom. He leaves behind his son, Austin Wayne Boone, grandson, Nathanial Wayne Boone, mother, Jody Hysom, sister and brother-in-law, Shelly & Tom Hunsecker, “favorite” nephew, Blake Hunsecker, “favorite” niece, Alyssa Hunsecker, girlfriend, Laura Humphrey along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Pete Boone, stepfather, Keith Hysom.

Brian worked for his Uncle Dave’s auction for many years. After his auction career he worked for his Uncle Scott at Scott’s Body and Paint. Following his auction and automotive careers, he was a lawn mower and moped repairman. Throughout his life, he was a dedicated son, father, brother, and grandpa who loved fishing and spending time with his family (especially his grandson). He enjoyed racing cruiser cars with his cousin, Kelly, and supporting the Dallas Cowboys, win or lose. He also enjoyed cooking, and family always wanted him to bring Grandma Shipman's sweet potato casserole and the deviled eggs to holiday dinners. No one could make them just right like he did. Brian always had a smile on his face and could make a new friend wherever he went.

Visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 W. 13th St., Wichita, on Sunday, March 23rd, from 2-5 pm. Service will be on Monday, March 24th, at 10 am at Christian Chapel Foursquare Church, 5828 S. Broadway, Wichita. Brian will be laid to rest next to his dad at Greenwood Cemetery, 6231 W. 47th St. S., Wichita.
