Bruce "Eddie" Allen

Bruce "Eddie" Allen, 53, of Mulvane, Kansas passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at home surrounded by family in Mulvane. Eddie was born the son of Joe and Melba (Fowler) Allen on January 6, 1968 in Wichita. Eddie and Candy Allen were united in marriage on August 10, 1991 in Mulvane. Eddie graduated in the class of 1986 from Mulvane High School, where he competed in many powerlifting tournaments and broke many school records. Eddie worked at Learjet, Cessna, Raytheon and most recently Spirit in the Tooling Department. He was preceded in death by his father; Joe (Pat) Allen, mother; Melba (Ron) Schutkesting, brother; Steve Allen, Sisters; Geraldine Patrick and Teresa Raley. Survivors include his loving wife; Candy Allen, children; Amanda Allen, Alexis Allen, Dalton Allen and Blake Allen, grandchildren; Emma Allen, Logan Whitaker, Joe Allen, sisters; JoAnn (Rex) Dodson of Rogers, AR, Jackie (Kevin) Kirby of Grove, OK, Rena (Kenny) McCaslin of Winfield, KS, Teresa (Mitch) Byers of Wichita, brothers; Mark (Debbie) Allen of Zenda, KS, Jeffery (Melody) Fowler of Grove, OK and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family. Celebration of Life service will be 10am on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th St. N., Wichita. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
