King, Dolly Mae, age 82, retired LearJet employee, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Dolly was born January 2, 1933, in Wichita, the daughter of Eli Young and Thelma Elizabeth (Norris) Deskines. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bill Starr and Roy King; and sister, Dortha Adams. Survivors include: children, Brenda (Roger) Lenertz, Wichita, Michael Starr, AZ, Linda Shamblin, Wichita, Danny Starr, AZ, Pat (Joe) Wappelhorst, Colwich; sister, Ruth Cummings; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. A celebration of life graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, October 17, at Resthaven Garden of Memory. A memorial has been established with Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
