Ella Jean Hendricks

Ella Jean Hendricks, 93, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Jean was born the daughter of William and Clara Bradford on June 8, 1928 in Birch Tree, MO. Jean and Jim Hendricks were united in marriage on September 19, 1947. Jean worked as a alterations lady at Sheplers Western Wear in Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings; Marjorie, Bob, George, Mary, Helen, Ruth and daughter-in-law; Jackie. Survivors include her sons; Bruce (Sandra), Alan (Susan), Mark (Dana), John, brother; Ned (Caroline), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and all her friends from the West YMCA and from Antioch Church. A Celebration of Life service will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Antioch Christian Church, 3741 W. 15th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 1202 W. Douglas Ave., Wichita, Kansas.
